We currently have 3 types of fees creators can choose from:
Success fees - Subscribers only pay if the syndication has been profitable. We've also implemented measures to avoid paying unnecessary fees. For example, losses in live runs must be offset by greater profits before the subscriber pays a success fee. We accomplish this by keep tracking of the high watermark of a runs' balance. Our article on how these fees are calculated goes into more detail.
Allocation fees - Allocation fees are calculated based on a fixed % of the funds you've allocated to a syndication. Let's say you've allocated $1000 today and the fee is 1%, you'll be charged 1% of the average allocation throughout the billing month. If the average was $1000 you'll be charged $10, if it's $2000, it'll be $20. For more detail, you can read about how allocation fees are calculated.
Fixed monthly fees - Fixed fees are self-explanatory. The creator can pick a value in $ that is deducted at the start of a subscription, and recurs monthly, based on the day of your initial subscription.
Note: Recurring fees are deducted from your chosen payment provider automatically. Be it credit card or crypto. In case of the latter, they'll be invoiced to you and require manual payment.
