When visiting the invest page, you will see a selection along the top of the syndications tab. These are single-click filters, which display options based on pre-defined conditions.
So rather than searching through syndications manually, traders can quickly view a category of interest. Let's have a brief look at how these work.
Top 10 Performer - You can think of this as a list showing the highest gains of all time, but with a slight twist. These are selected based on risk score, which accounts for both all-time historic gains and losses (maximum drawdown). This filter includes anything that has been live for more than 30 days.
We've noted the risk score calculation below, but it's not necessary.
Risk Score Calculation
Lowest Risk - Shows syndications, ordered by smallest historic losses (maximum drawdown), and with low leverage. This filter includes anything that has been live for more than 30 days.
Bitcoin - Shows all the syndications that trade with BTC. This means the quote, or base, currency is BTC. These syndications are also sorted by smallest historic losses (maximum drawdown) first, and includes anything that has been live for more than 30 days.
Slow & Steady - This list is meant to show the most consistent performers. To be put on this list, syndications must have a minimum runtime period of at least 90 days, and historic losses (maximum drawdown) of less than -20%. The order they appear in is determined by what % of months were profitable. Syndications that never had a losing month will appear at the top.
YOLO - Displays the fastest profiting syndications. So rather than sorting by all-time profits alone, we also account for time. This displays syndications based on a compound daily return since going live, with the highest first. This filter includes anything that has been live for more than 30 days.
Altcoin - Shows a list of syndications that use neither BTC or ETH.
This article contains a number of mentions to maximum drawdown. An understanding of this is critical when evaluating syndications. If you are unfamiliar with the term, we strongly recommend: What is MDD (Maximum Drawdown)?
