Tuned Template: Tuned Power BI Dashboard V4.2 release
Getting Started:
- Download and install Power BI (upgrade to the latest version if available).
- Create a new folder where you will store the JSON files downloaded from Tuned. For example, 'C:\Users\<user>\Documents\TunedDownloads' — it is important that only the JSON files are stored here, any other files could cause the Power BI Template to create errors.
- Download JSON file from Tuned and place it in the folder chosen above.
- Backtest, Papertrade or Live (pack or single execution)
- Due to the potential size of Batchtests, the downloaded JSON file will only include the runs which have been favourited.
- Backtest, Papertrade or Live (pack or single execution)
- Place all downloaded JSON files into your chosen directory and make sure not to rename any of the files.
- Download the Tuned Power BI Template file and store it somewhere sensible.
- Load Power BI by double-clicking on the template file.
- Because this is a template file, you will be asked for the folder location — this is where you paste in the folder address for the JSON files and click load: e.g., 'C:\Users\user>\Documents\TunedDownloads' for this example
- Power BI will spend some time loading the data and creating the visuals. Depending on the amount of data and the speed of your computer, this could take anywhere from just a few seconds up to ~1 minute.
- Once loaded, the dashboard will need to be saved (File → Save As). To avoid making the dashboard large and difficult to use, try using multiple files that look at different exchanges or markets.
- When new JSON files are added to the folder or removed, you can refresh the dashboard by clicking refresh on the ribbon.
